My experience is growing every moment! July 11, 2005, I attended my first birth as a support person. In the late summer of this year, I began shadowing a local doula, and watched her help a couple who successfully VBACed and participated in the labor and birth of a couple who were giving birth for the first time. I have recently gone through CAPPA's Labor Doula training seminar with Tamara Kaufman and I'm working on getting certified.
