I began working with expectant families after spending many years as a Stay At Home Mom to my three children. My husband and I were married in 1998, in Paignton, UK. In 2001, we bought our home in Hilliard, Ohio, where we currently reside. We also have two mastiffs - Duchess and Kane!

The first family I helped through pregnancy and the birthing process were good friends. From there, I went through training to become a doula through CAPPA. Six months into my doula career, a VBAC client decided late in pregnancy to have her baby at home!
