Merry Christmas! I am just about ready with just a few more things to get. All of our births have been really nice;) It is a big bonus to actually love your job. The families that we have had the privelege to work with are so kind, funny, and just good people. I hope you all have a wonderful safe holiday.

The national cesarean rates hae risen again. I cannot wait for this to turn the opposite way. My daughters dance teacher, ended up in a csection this morning with her first baby. I know that they were worried about it being a big baby....8lbs big. Makes me so sad. It is just so frustrating to me..to know that had she been in our care, I feel confident that it wouldn't have been this way for her. How can the two sides be so completely different? I just keep hoping that the tide is going to really turn sooner than later.

This wknd will be busy for sure! Tomorrow I hope to start making cookies. One of our girls feels like labor might be starting, so I may wait to make cookies Friday. Helping Kerry and Jamie move some this wknd. Going to grandma's Sunday and actually have Christmas Eve off this year! YAHOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

I'm going to crash for awhile! Need to get a bit of sleep before I am up tonight:) Write more soon. xx Amy
